For Exhibitors
The theme of the MICE EXPO Kansai is “Rebooting and Revitalizing the MICE Industry,” with the aim of resolving issues facing the industry as a whole, creating business innovations, and revitalizing the markets. In addition, we aim to promote mutual exchange among Meetings, Incentives (Inbound), Conventions (Conference), and Exhibitions (Event), and to promote the development of the ideal MICE industry in 2025 and further.

Special Presentation
Online format
With the spread of the new coronavirus, many MICE operators have been forced to consider using “online” planning, and now a “hybrid” style that complements the “real” with the “online” is getting settled. How will the MICE industry adapt to the rapid pace of digital transformation? We will be constantly examining how to maximize the benefits of “online” and deliver results for participants.
Seminar
To realize the ideal future of MICE, we are planning seminars that focus on issues related to human resource development and the SDGs that the whole industry is facing and provide hints on how to resolve these issues.
Details will be announced in the email newsletter as soon as they are finalized.

Organizer’s highlight “MICE event with SDGs”

With the aim of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030, this exhibition will work to resolve various issues in the MICE industry, including environmental, social, and circular economy issues. Specifically, we will hold seminars prior to the exhibition to provide an opportunity to learn about the contributions to SDGs in Japan and abroad, and during the exhibition, we will provide a special area for PR through panel displays and presentations introducing the exhibitor’s approach to deepen the knowledge for participants attending the exhibition.
Collaborations and cooperation by MICE-related organizations
We will be making preparation in cooperation with Japanese leading industry associations, the Japan Congress and Convention Bureau (JCCB) and the Japan Convention Management Association (JCMA). Details will be announced in the email newsletter as soon as they are finalized.

Japan Congress Convention Bureau (JCCB)
The Japan Convention Promotion Association (JCPA) was dismissed in May 1995. In June of the same year, JCPA was established as a voluntary organization by the Japan Association for the Promotion of International Tourism, International Congress & Convention Cities, Convention Bureau, etc. In 2009, JCPA became a general incorporated association. In 2009, it became a general incorporated association and currently has 119 members (as of 2021).

Japan Convention Management Association (JCMA)
The Japan PCO Association (JAPCO) and the Japan Convention Business Association (CPA) merged on April 1, 2015 to form the new Japan Convention Management Association (JCMA), the largest convention organization in Japan. The JCMA currently has 243 member organizations and companies (as of 2021).
